Samsung has announced a new tablet named "Galaxy Tab 3". It has a 7 inch display with WSVGA TFT technology, its display a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels at 169 ppi pixel density. It encompasses thinner bezel than the previous Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0 inch).
The Samsung Galaxy Tab3 is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor with speed of 1GB RAM memory. The Tab 3 run's on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) operating system.
It has a 3megapixel rear camera and a 1.3 megapixel of front camera. It supports 1080p video palyback.
The Galaxy Tab 3 comes in two variants, 16GB and 32GB. both models allow you to expand memory up to 64GB via MicroSD card slot. It is packed with a 4000 mAh battery.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab3; 7 inch Wi-Fi version will be available globally beginning May and 3G version will follow in June. The product availability varies by market and will be rolled out gradually. The Galaxy Tab 3 is a slim mobile device which may be able to directly compete with the smaller tablet ranges offered by rivals Apple and Google.
