DISPLAY TYPE

There are lot of Display types used in Mobiles phone, Tablets, Television Display, Desktop CRT Monitors, Laptops and etc..
They can be either colour or monochrome. Monochrome Displays on the other hand can be alphanumeric or Graphic. Alphanumeric display can show only symbols with a constant size, while Graphic Display can show fonts of different size and Animations. The Color Display usually are different type of Displays for example.

  2. STN    :- Super Twisted Nematic
  3. TFT    :- Thin Film Transistor
  4. TFD    :- Thin Film Diode
  5. LCD   :- Liquid Crystal Display
  6. OLED :- Organic Light-Emitting Diode
  7. UFB    :- Ultra Fine and Bright
With a predominant use of TFT Displays in current mobile lineups. There are also two of Touch-screen Displays -  Capacitive and resistive, which are both based on TFT Technology.
